Hanoi is said to be one of the best food cities in Vietnam, so we hired a local guide to take us around for the ultimate Hanoi food tour! We tried 10 dishes, including some very iconic Hanoi staples, quick snacks cooked right on the street, and more!

👋🏼 About us
Hi y’all! We’re Adam, Kathryn, and Kona, an adventurous married couple (+ pup!) living on the road in our self-converted sprinter van! You can often find us driving all around the US and Canada, scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos and ice cream (we’re a 5+ taco and 2+ scoop household), and enjoying nature.
We help travelers spend less time (and stress!) planning their trip and more time enjoying it! Our detailed travel guides, YouTube videos, and travel resources share the must-visit local eats, popular and off the beaten path sights, and tons of tips to make planning your next adventure a whole lot easier.
Note: We’ve linked a handful of items so you can see exactly which products we take with us. Full disclosure–if you click on these links and make a purchase, we get a small commission at no extra cost to you. We will only ever recommend products we truly love, actually use during our adventures, and think you can benefit from too!

Love how enthusiastic you guys are and how you described the food that actually made a local like me wanna try. Keep it up!
I've been keeping up with watching your videos but been terrible with leaving comments! I'm going to use the term 'inspirers' instead of influencers, but once again, you guys have inspired me and even though I've been saying for years I want to go to Vietnam… and have never got round to it… flights were officially booked last week! 🙌 We've jumped on them before the prices go up, but work is incredibly busy (always is at this time of year) so will start with the itinerary, accommodation and activity planning in the next month or two. These videos have been amazing for inspiration and ideas! I LOVE Vietnamese food, we're lucky to have a nice café in walking distance from our home, but I bet its nothing even close to what you guys have experienced on this tour. I'm 100% with your guide not liking cucumbers… I'd have probably left that out too! Really liked learning about the history of the food in this video too!
Xin chào
Of course the north have no, the south Saigon we had milk because the 🇺🇸 USA was there, we got a lot of milk
Life happened so I needed to catch up on this series. I didn’t think I’d like it more than your Alaska travels but wow! Great content!! What memories you are making. Thanks for sharing them!
We don't call fried spring roll because when it is Fried it is no longer Spring. Spring means fresh vegetable like Spring Mix vegetable

WHERES SOUTHERN PHO NAM VIDEO LINK ?
The tour guy English is very good.
I love Pho from the South. It’s more vegatables and different kinds of beef meats
Thank you so very much for the google map links, it really helps!
Love your photography, love the LIGHTING!!! Love seeing through your eyes!!! Please keep it up. 😄
Nice video as usual. I think food in Central and South Vietnam is better and more various because they are the richest regions of the country (reviews of late Anthony Bourdain). Bun Cha is really the best dish of Hanoi.
Glad you are having a great time.
I feel like Katherine's chopstick stills have slowly been getting better throughout this Vietnam series. I bet she's a pro by now! 😜
We miss Vietnam (and Hanoi) so much! So many great dishes that we really miss. Even after traveling so much since living there, it's still one of our favorite cuisines.
