A must do in Vietnam is the incredible boat tour in Ninh Binh at Trang An. In our opinion this is a much better experience than Ha Long Bay. The views are just as impressive, it’s more affordable, and this area is better maintained. The water was clean unlike Ha Long Bay where we saw a lot of plastic floating around. On this boat tour you’ll see impressive limestone formations, caves and beautiful temples. Ninh Binh was one of our favourite places in Vietnam. If you visit, please be a responsible tourist and do not leave any garbage behind.
