  2. Swanky green chairs!!!
I am sorry but if I had to listen to constant chattering from the intercom while I am enjoying the train ride and a beautiful meal. I would wear double headphones.

  3. Didnโ€™t know there is a town/city called Kochi in Japan, we have a city called Kochi here in Indiaโ€ฆyour travel vlogs are amazing..Arigato Gozaimasu,Solo San..your fan from India๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

  4. What a lovely trip! The scenery was just breathtaking, and I've never seen such a pretty presentation of the lunch before. Such a fulfilling way to travel, SJT, and I'm grateful for you sharing it with us!

  5. Love Asahi beer! I can remember how it tasted the first time I drank it in Japan. Was happy when I was able to get it here in Bermuda, but now they are not bringing it in anymore as far as I can tell1 It is my dream to have the experience you are highlighting with a friend of mine some day.

  6. Great trip – Thanks !! But eating a 'Fish Burger' with chopsticks looks tricky ( are you allowed to pick it up with fingers ?). I would like VR the Finnish Rail operator to do such gastrononic trips but I doubt it ๐Ÿฅฒ Prices were OK too but actual train fares in JP are expensive. Nice video ๐Ÿ‘ Tricky for me in a wheelchair๐Ÿฆฝ

  7. See the kids running to try to keep up with the train as it departs – sweet. Having taken the Silver Fern luxury train from Auckland to Wellington in NZ a few years ago, a local Auckland kid popped over the fence as we departed to give us all the finger. It's the little things that tell you about the quality of people of a country. lol

  8. What beautiful hilly scenery! I suppose that if the folks who live in the hillside homes forgot something when grocery shopping, they could always use Instacart ๐Ÿ˜‰ . I loved the presentation of the triple layer bento boxes.

  9. At the beginning of the video, I wanted a bento too! By the middle I wanted to drink a beer. I'm now going to the store to buy some apple pie to go with my coffee. The food looked so good, it really made me hungry. The scenery was the cherry on top.

  11. What a wonderful train journey. As a tourist this is something I'd love to do as I've already really done the big cities stuff numerous times and this would be fresh and new.

  12. Yeah, g'day
Passing over some of the gorges reminded me a little of parts of Taiwan and maybe some parts of remote China.
It looked absolutely fantastic, I AM so jealous of you at the moment. ๐Ÿ˜
Thank you once again for sharing this with us.

  13. Great film. Thank you. We were lucky enough to visit this beautiful gorge last autumn but, sadly, we did not take this amazing train. Shikoku is an amazing island with so many wonderful things to see
