Of course there's no sound!! Home movies did not have sound in the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's!!
Thank you for sharing these wonderful old images with us. I visited Ceylon in 1978, and it was a magical place. Wish I'd visited Burma in the '70s as well!

Wasn't invented yet.
no sound———becoz on that times flims were not technically producd withs sound system on film tape,,this technology came after some years.
