      Enjoining your trip to sai gon!the river Saigon song sai gon district 1 is always a good sight seeing area .chu chi is area where the viet cong had tunnels . The pho or soup hope enjoyed the banh mi is actually bread in Vietnamese but can be a sandwich !hope that hotel cost was reasonable I prefer to stay with my family in sai gon but have stayed on outskirts in district10 you can ask next time perhaps for district10 more reasonable !paul

      Very big development compared when I was there about 15 years ago. At that time you can't even take photo on government buildings. Enjoy your vacation in Vietnam.

      OMG! hahaahahah I still have PTSD watching those millions of motorbikes!! Even though I went to HCMC a few years ago and stayed in a posh hotel and on a business visit, it was very nice with business associates… but I could not cope with the street walking as a couple of times I froze in the middle of the road..colleagues had to rescue me as I screamed and cried in fear. hahaahahhaah.. I have not been back to Vietnam since.
