Dad had a Scania V8 141, It would out accelarate most high performance cars at the time when bobtail, hang a burnout like crazy and the 4 way locking diffs are still high tech

  2. Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ has many Truck Festivals too
One of the biggest is the Trucker and Country Festival Deutschland 2023 End of May

  3. Check out the Kremer Porsche 935 JΓ€germeister or Moby Dick Porsche ,BMW M1 and the Ford Capri of the Group 5 Racing Series

  4. The strongest Engine Mercedes Benz built is the Mercedes Benz Actros 1863.5/24 Semi Truck with 625 hp.
And the MAN TGX 41.640 8×6 Truck is the most powerful german Semi Truck ever built.
Surely Volvo and Scania are more powerful but Benz and MAN are awesome too

  5. Nice suggestion on Youtube : channel is Martijn Kuipers and the episode is from 11 may 2023 and called Scania S770 V8-power duo Van Brink Staalbouw. Dutch steelbuilding and transport to Deventer in the Netherlands. πŸ’ͺ

  6. I believe that the truck at 7.49 min into the video might an Bedford. They were made in the Uk in the Vauxhall plants. In the start It was called Chevrolet Bedford until 1930 and just Bedford from 1931.

  7. Have you come across Eddie Stobart yet? He started a trucking company and insisted all his drivers wore shirts and ties. His trucks carry a neat livery and he made sure the drivers kept them clean. He gave all the trucks names and this started a craze of Eddie Stobart truck spotting. They were a subject of a TV series, and held their own truckfest type events. Getting a truck named after you is a big deal. Lots of videos on YouTube.

  8. Watched this video last night and then by chance today that gold Volvo drove past me! Nice looking rig towing a brick trailer through Sunny Lancashire.
