  1. hi did you not fancy stopping at the metal bridge inn ,,,stopped there a few times vey good dog friendly pub and staff really nice ,,free water dump waste toilets ect ,,just need to use the pub ,,

  2. Another fuel tip at the moment if you are staying at Strathclyde Park and heading North, or south, check out the Fuel prices At Sainsbury’s & the independent station at Strathaven, some 5p/l cheaper than rest in Glasgow, unless you are a COSCO member (same) and Up to 10pm cheaper than further N or South. It is a bit of a deviation off the M74, Larkhall exit, 6m each way, but worth it if you have an empty tank.

  3. Thanks for the tour of Gretna Green, it brought back memories. Can’t believe Jenny won’t give you a kiss! I like the dry sparkle kit and it seems to do a great job. Moffat looks a lovely place. Take care Gill

  4. We stayed at Moffat last September at the start of our first Scotland trip – we chose to stsybhaving watched your previous vlogs which were really helpful and we’ll be staying again in the near future. Enjoy your latest trip across the border 😊

  5. Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, nice journey to Moffat, and a stop off at Gretna green, would of been lovely to have found your padlock x. Moffat is a nice site, loved the bike ride into the town, the chips looked nice. the walk to the park and the river looked lovely with the ducks and the scenery around stunning. Thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x

  6. Lovely stop at Gretna and we had some nice scones we we went 😃 We saw our red heart when you were looking for yours 😮 I would worry about using dry sparkle on our ceramic coating. It may affect the shine or repellent. Moffat is a lovely site. Really enjoyed our quiet pitch at the back of the site overlooking the farm. Your pie and chips looked nice. When do you meet Bob and Aileen? Safe travels 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev n Sue

  7. Yes the museum is very worth a look at and the Whiskey tasting is very good but only if you aren’t driving or have a co pilot. I hope you have lovely time in Scotland. Poppy’s has to get her blanket just right, my Coco does the same. Hi Bob, great deal on the Dry sprinkle . I’ve just ordered some for my camper. Thanks Bob 👍👍

  8. Hi Bob & Jenny, I wonder if you could do me a favour please? We have a 69-4 and have enquired about changing the tyres to something with better off-road grip and were recommended the General AT3's. I caught what I thought was part of 'General' on the tyre wall – are you able to let me know what the tyres are on the Adamo you're using please?

  9. Hi bob, jenny & lovely poppy. A lovely site at moffatt, so much to see & do. Has anyone asked you what the Sahara challenge is, with all those stickers on the van. Hope you have a great time. Lots of love. Linda xx ❤

  10. Moffat is one of our favourite sites so clean and as you said plenty to do. We stayed there over Christmas and often do on our way up to the Highlands.

  11. In North Wales Coast today diesel was also cheaper than petrol at a staggering £1.39 a litre. This is obviously because I’ve sold my diesel car to switch to petrol to enjoy lower running costs !!

  12. I remember my Dad telling me how is friends ran off to Gretna green to be married when they were 16/17 this would have been 1960 or something, do they still do weddings i wonder? When you were cleaning i had a mark on my laptop i kept thinking you missed a bit 😂

  13. Oh just missed you Bob! We were going to stay at Moffat the night before yesterday, but ended up at Keswick ccc for a change. As we go to Moffat a lot, we love it there ☺️ Great video, Em 💜

  14. Been twice to Moffat and in both trips the staff have over stated keeping within the pitch boundaries if erecting an awning.
In fact we were told to move the awning as it was approx 1 foot over the boundary, the awning was only 2 meters wide, very narrow pitches.
    (The friendly Club)
The new pitches are half a meter wider so on arrival look for one of these.

  15. Chatting to a warden today at a Camping and Caravanning Club site they told me that all their shops are coming under the control of the club and every shop will be stocked identically and it’s card only payment . That’s what some shops are closed at the moment.

  16. Diesel at the local Jet Petrol station to me has just dropped to 146.9, prices are going in the right direction for once! 😊

You cleaning the van has made me wanna get the bucket and sponge out and wash me car

  17. A different topic you stay on a lot club sites that are now very expensive . But seasonal pitches can be had for as little as 7 or 8 pounds per night fully inclusive that is a big difference in price . I know you cannot speak for the club just wondered what you thought about the big difference in prices and are they fair

  18. Great campsite about 2 miles outside of Ecclefechan, Hoddom Castle. Our great weekend retreat as 30 minutes from home, highly recommended. 😊😊😊

  19. Great video, as usual, bringing back some memories. We got married in Gretna, it's our 30th anniversary later this month. Then we we went to Bo'ness for our honeymoon.

  20. It was good to see some familiar places. I know Gretna Green and I went to school In Moffat, for a time. I hope you have an enjoyable time. I was at Gretna Green in 2021 and enjoyed revisiting it. I love your new motor home. I hope you get many happy miles in it The bike is a handy way of getting around Bob. Moffat is a lovely town. StAndrews Church has Westminster chimes in the tower clock
