Day 13 of our Vietnam Explorer Tour with Tru Travels!
Hello everyone and welcome back!
Today’s video is all about exploring the big city – Hanoi. We arrived very early in the morning via night bus, but instead of having a little nap like usual, we headed straight for a cafe! Here we had some amazing breakfast and we were taught the art of Vietnamese egg coffee! Jack try’s his best in the video, but the locals are the true stars of the show when it comes to coffee making. Who said rum in the coffee at 06:00 is a bad idea?
After coffee, we were offered the opportunity to explore the city. We decided to head for Jade Island to visit the temple, this was truly beautiful! If you visit Hanoi, this temple is a must!
From here, we headed over to one of the local markets. We attempted to pick up gifts and do implement the British tradition of haggling. This DID NOT work! The locals that worked the market were not interested in coming down on their prices, which was fair enough. We did pick up a few bits, but couldn’t afford to splash out as we still had over a week left.
Without revealing the entire video in the description, we also visit Hanoi Train Street! Need we say more? We guarantee you have never seen anything like this before!
