Planning a trip to Japan? If you’re going to Osaka, I’d recommend exploring this abandoned railway line near Takedao station. It’s less than an hour out of the city and takes you along a picturesque gorge, as well as through six pitch black tunnels!

In this video I show you show to get there and what the walk is like, and then cap things off with an onsen recommendation back in Osaka.

  1. That's a high stakes hike if I ever saw one. A shame the bathhouse doesn't hand out tiny tigers!
I loved this one and can't wait for the next (hopefully less monstrous) hike!
