wow just in time! i booked my flights from London to Singapore just now. was looking at now to get to KL. Its such a shame theres no direct train services!
Defo not the train, until continuous point-to-point rail link and service are inaugurated. Which should have happened 20 years ago, and has been pushed back every year since then.
Great video! Soon, you can make a train, bus and plane from Singapore to Thailand!
I took the train option and it’s slow (but cheap). Can’t recommend it unless you really want to take the train. I agree that bus is best here – those seats look incredible.
Flight is quick but with my environmentally friendly cap on, I couldn’t justify it to myself for a couple of hours saved.
I enjoyed this video, and you definitely should do more of this type, eg London to Amsterdam. Your conclusions from 11m 20s very much reflected my own thoughts. However I would want a bus departure later than 06 00, say 08 00. Currently the train option is ridiculously bad. I have open in front of me the Malaysian page (page 600) of the 'Beyond Europe' section of the European Rail Timetable, and I am struggling to comprehend how the train service between two important cities only about 400 kms. apart could be so bad! (I had never heard of Gemas before I watched this video!)
How fun! I think I'd take the bus because it's a good balance between speed and value. Plus those bus seats look incredibly comfortable!
Boa viagem ai 3 trem ônibus avião show
I prefer train's, i don't know why but i love them.. i have done train journey of 50 hours even 72 hour's and i love them 😅 and it sounds safe
I'd take the bus for this, especially if I could get one of the luxury coaches. Flying I'd do only if I needed to get to KL quickly, though the amenities are nice. The train right now takes too long and has too many transfers to make it a viable option.
Great effort from you

Great video. Definitely agree, at the time of your recording, I prefer bus. Correct me if I wrong, on some occasions, flying between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur served by wide body jet. With the direct ETS service between JB and KL connected, this would be game changer a.k.a comeback for train surely.
The cheapest would not always suit but the bus looks like the best option for me
Just a suggestion – Beware of Credit Card tapping as the login is still active after the transaction is complete. It takes a few minutes to log off. I really don’t care for either mode of transportation I would rather drive my car more flexibility and at your own convenience.
Great video! That bus was awesome and you won’t be surprised to know that it would be my preferred option too! Kuala Lumpur looks nice, I’d maybe fly there first and do the trip in the opposite direction. Cheers 😊👍
Excellent. More like it would be good.
I actually really like this style of video in that you get to see each of the aspects of the travel options side to side, so it's easy to follow along and make comparisons. Do we know when the ETS will be extended all the way to Johor Bahru? Whenever that happens, I'm sure it will become a much more appealing option.
Bus wins. It looks more comfortable, it's cheap, and it's not that much longer than the plane. Especially great is the few amount of changes. I know it was early in the morning but if you're going to start at Raffles you have to go in and have a Singapore Sling.
Would’ve preferred 3 different segments. Didn’t like constant switching.
Great video!! Very informative! Thanks
By the end of next year (2024), Electrified double tracks project (EDTP) from Gemas to Johor Bahru Sentral will be finished, and KTM ETS (Electric Train Service) will be connected Padang Besar Station (Thailand border) to JB Sentral (Singapore border) via KL Sentral as long as 955km.
And journey time from KL Sentral to JB Sentral by ETS will be 3.5 hours.
Pls try to ride ETS after this service started, and it will be cheaper, faster n comfortable.
Not telling me anything special
I love trains but the bus option seems to be better.
Dont forget to try Indonesian high speed train☺ in August 2023 it will be open for public in frist time. 🥰👊🏻🙏
i think that in a few years the train would get the 1st place.
I absolutely adore singapore
For train fans hooligans, only train option! $#% bus, and plane🚝
Enjoy it? Yes, I did – very much. Left with one question re frequency though. You say there are about 100 bus trips per day – but there's a big difference (I assume) between the 'luxury' bus and the 'budget' trip. On a plane, both classes go together (so, yes, there are approx 36 trips), but they are completely seperate entities on a bus. I would seriously consider the luxury bus – but probably not the budget bus. So I'm left wondering how many trips per day I can choose from if I take the bus?
Excellent video, really enjoyable to watch. My own preference would be I suppose it was a 30 minute video instead of just 12 as there could be more content available to watch.
I definitely would like to go to Kuala Lumpur. Beautiful place I have to say 🤩
Much as I am a train fan, that bus wins hands down.. Air travel is soulless..
