We explore the Latvian capital of Riga! 🇱🇻 This is the largest city in the Baltic region. A walk around the old town helps tell the story of Latvia’s volatile history. Today, Riga is an architectural stunner: We take a look at the handsome Three Brothers (a trio of the city’s oldest dwellings), the spite-inspired Cat House, and some of the 800 or so Art Nouveau buildings that are scattered throughout the city. We also hit up the popular local eatery Lido to fill up on borscht and cabbage rolls and get down to some ‘80s classics— this is the Baltics’ biggest nightlife hub, after all. 😉

  1. Thanks for the video. So, actually there is a "harp" at the Swedish Gate and it is an ancient national string instrument called "Kokle".
