  1. Playground across from Wat Phnom brought me back a lot of memories back to the early 60s as my parent brought us to play there all the time. The fruit bats on the trees were also there then with some wild monkeys playing around. Your exercise at the riverfront is killing me as I'm watching you. PP City was so peaceful then before the civil war started in 1970 with a few cars and a lot of mopeds and bicycles. I had to leave the country after surviving the genocide in late 1979 but most of my family members did not survive. I've returned to visit the country every year for the last ten years since my retirement and I agreed with you the US has become very expensive to live. I'll return in a few months to see my only surviving sister who still lives there. Thanks for sharing this to the world about Cambodia as the country has changed so much since I left. Happy travels and stay safe from Minnesota!

  2. looks like the price is almost similar to Jakarta. How safe is Cambodia for foreigner? Like can you walk alone at night safe?
Thanks for the video, it gives us lots of information about how life is in Cambodia.

  3. I also like to mention this if you have time to visit Euro Park in the Borey Peng Huot – Beoung Snor which is about 15 minutes drive out of the PP through Hwy-1 (Hwy1 – going to Vietnam ). It's also free just to drive through this well-known gated community through the main gate on the west side straight to the Euro Park in the middle of the community then drive around the loop to the east side through the residential shops and restaurants with Vietnamese Pho and Banh Mi for a $1.50. I met some of the foreigners who live and raise their families as well. This community is highly rated with the safety and living standard if you can afford to rent or even to buy a property. I checked the condo with two bedrooms was roughly about $400 to $500 a month there. Plus, you don't have to go to PP City as they have everything you ever need them like the international school, sport clubs, playgrounds for each divided gated community, and they are currently building their huge shopping mall there. Again, it is free to drive around and check each gated community just mention to the security guard that you are looking to move and live there and they will let you in. Check it out and you will like it!
