Walking through the streets of Girona, Spain while telling a story about the previous day, in which I traveled from the island of Ibiza to the Pyrenees mountains of northern Spain by plane and bus.

  1. This is filmed in Girona, not Girano. I got it wrong a couple times. As far as the song "I Took a Pill in Ibiza", while checking the song to see how he pronounced it I went down a little rabbit hole and watched a couple other videos of Mike Posner, including one in which he explains the inspiration for the song, which currently has 1.5 billion views on Youtube (yes, billion). The story of what led to the song is a complete fluke and not a happy one. Pretty interesting, you can see his explanation here on Logan Paul's podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHZvNG6ejRk

  2. Vancouver island awaits you Gabe , but as you know B.C means bring cash ! I have a suite for you in Ladysmith. Hit me up anytime! Really enjoy your videos, number 1 travel vlogger . Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿบ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿ˜Ž

  3. We're still spending billions on their defense. While we can barely fill potholes in the roads here and our vets are homeless.

  4. Gabe u need to travel with a minder, to do all the research, bookings and finding cheap ATMโ€™s etc, etc ๐Ÿ‘โœ… ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  5. My wife being Colombian ive traveled there several times and got hit with expensive fees in rural areas … when I cant avoid it I take the maximum amount of money I can out

  6. Catalan is the official native language of the island and they say Eivissa, pronuounced simply as "Ee-vee-sa." The Spanish (Castilian) call the island Ibiza and pronunce the "z" with a "th." Both words are derived from "Ebusus." That is what the Romans called the island.

    Catalan: Eivissa
Castilian: Ibiza (pronounced with a "th")
American/British: Ibiza (pronounced the way it is spelled)

  7. Never been. One of the best Michelin starred restaurants in the world is in Girona (El Celller de Can Roca). Keep up the vids in Spain Gab ๐Ÿ‘

  8. 5% left … why not to use mobile recharger? At least I always take one with me in my trips

  9. I stayed in Girona a couple of days in my three months Europe trip in 2016 before I went to Andorra. Really calm and nice city with a nice old town and I remember the city walls that I walked on. Haven't seen this video yet.

  10. Haha, so familiar issues with the practicals of travelling. Sometimes there can be a long day of various hassles. Other days everything goes smooth. This is what I love about traveling.

  11. Gabriel Girona is a top spot well worth the visit got flights ยฃ9 rtn last Jan rtn so had to do it great wee square accommodation was alot cheaper in January have found cheap flights for this month but accommodation just to expensive

  12. Are you visiting the atlantic cost of spain like bilbao or santander? It looks very different to the mediterranian cost with more rough waves. From there it is easy to santiago de compostella or the french atlantic coast and the gascogne before this regions are run over by parisians on their summer holiday.

  13. Hi Gabriel, your pronunciation of Ibiza sounds correct because in Spanish the letter i sounds like an e in English this is why it can be confusing to learn a new language because certain letters don't sound the same in another language. You're close to the Basque Country autonomous community an area that is part of Spain but has its own language and culture and has fought with the Spanish government for independence from Spain.

  14. Hey Gabriel! I've been watching your videos for a while now and they're always interesting and informative. The audio and video quality is also stellar! What kind of camera do you use? Wishing you all the best and a great day.

  16. Yeah thats the thing about Europe. The old towns are cute, but you go out a little more, its not as good. Same in the US of course. But travelers always get dazzled by tourist sites and forget about real life.
