Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm – it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Perfect_Day/18062757_Trade_Perfect_Day_FAQs.pdf. To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I loved Royal Caribbeans home port in Miami. It's so pretty!! The suite looks amazing!!! The bungee cord hack in genius!! We use the hooks but run out of space!
The roast beef sandwich roll is pronounced “Kimmelweck.” The sandwich is a very popular regional food in Buffalo and western NY where it is affectionately called a “Beef on Weck.” Charlie the Butcher is probably the most popular place to get one.
That’s an amazing room. I love a Disney cruise but seeing what you get for the same price on a Royal cruise has me wanting to try Oasis class real bad!
So Royal allows you to bring your own plastic water bottles on board?

FYI – the Kummelweck, also called a "Beef on Weck", is a roast beef sandwich from western NY, Buffalo area to be specific. Its name is based on the roll, the Kummelweck roll, which traditionally is topped with kosher salt and caraway seeds. They are so delicious, and it is really cool that you can get one on a cruise ship!

We had a Crown Loft suite on Oasis when it was new. It spoiled us for all our future cruises. We never figured out how to raise they TV in the loft ceiling. Love your videos!!!

We have stayed in the Crown Loft 3 different times. It was fun to watch your initial reaction to the Suite because we were the same way our first time. I was talking to the screen trying to tell you how to raise the TV screen. I hope you enjoyed the suite as much as we do.

Such a great video job well done!!! I actually just came off Allure Of The Seas 2 weeks ago this coming Sunday and loved every second of it. Allure Of The Seas was my second Oasis class I’ve been on. I was on Oasis Of The Seas in 2015 I’ve also been on a Freedom class ship on Independence Of The Seas back in 2017. Love Royal Caribbean I don’t think I will ever sail with anyone else but Royal!!!
Am I the only one slightly disappointed in those suites? I would've liked a bigger shower instead of the rock succulent garden. And the balcony looking over the ship instead of the water 🙁 I know ya'll got an amazing deal, but for the regular price of one of these, i'd rather save money & get a regular balcony room that overlooks the water.

I just got off my first cruise. It was on voyager, so I thought I would be burnt out with cruise content. I was wrong.

that roast beef sandwich is usually known as a roast beef on Kimmelwick bun. It's a big thing in Buffalo and northern states. Roast beef on a Kimmelwick roll with gravy. You are right for loving it.. it's an incredible sandwich!

Why didn't you give your mom the larger room being it was a celebration of her birthday? We have two teenagers that would have at least offered it to us so ill assume your mom turned down taking the loft room.

"Prior to curtain" is correct. That means when curtains open. "Curtain Call" is when all the actors come out to bow and they close the curtain for the last time. Hence "Curtain Call"
