Weekend In SOFIA, BULGARIA | Less EXPLORED EUROPE |софия България – This travel vlog covers our weekend in Sofia, Bulgaria. We flew into Sofia airport and ended up taking a taxi to our Airbnb for twice the going rate (always good to be weary of the scammers). We explored the beautiful Sofia (Serdica), enjoyed some delicious Bulgarian food, explored some ancient ruins, and had the best time. Some of the must visit sites were – Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Vitosha Boulevard (fun shopping here), Statue of Sveta Sofia, Banya Bashi Mosque, Russian Church, and Church of Saint George. We had a great first impression of Bulgaria. We cannot wait to go back and explore other cities of this beautiful country.
