The 2018 vacation was fantastic in that it was possible to travel freely. The choice fell on Normandy – the land of cows, cider and a rich but bloody war history.

We loved the Cotentin peninsula. We drove there for a long time from our starting base near Mont-Saint-Michel, but it was worth it.
