    Cycling Patagonia – An Autumn Adventure // A Documentary // Around the World by Bicycle



    Our two month journey through Patagonia proved to be one of our greatest experiences yet, and an incredible conclusion to 11 months and 12,760 km cycling in South America.

    From late-March to mid-May 2023, we rode 2,500 km through the breathtaking Patagonian wilderness, and essentially had the whole place to ourselves. For us, cycling Patagonia at the beginning of the low-season was therefore one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and we were even surprised by the beauty of the spectacular autumn (fall) colors.

I prefer bikepacking on gravel roads to competing with cars. Perhaps you would like to stop by for a warm shower and get some washing done when you visit Canberra?
