SUBSCRIBE: – Let’s go tot the Greek island of Salamina (ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΑ), which is the island closest to the Greek capital of Athens and let’s visit the so called ‘boat cemetery’ where old boats and ships are parked to rust and to decay. Putting aside (for a moment) the severe issues regarding the environmental damage caused by these rusting ships, this place is a photographer’s paradise, just watch!!

Salamis, is the largest Greek island in the Saronic Gulf, about 1 nautical mile off-coast from Piraeus and about 16 kilometres west of central Athens. The chief city, Salamina, lies in the west-facing core of the crescent on Salamis Bay, which opens into the Saronic Gulf.
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe with thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential in ancient times, it’s often called the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, retains landmarks including the 5th-century B.C. Acropolis citadel with the Parthenon temple. Greece is also known for its beaches, from the black sands of Santorini to the party resorts of Mykonos.
