    Hersheypark Vlog June 2023



    Join us as we head to Hersheypark in Pennsylvania for the opening day of Wildcat’s Revenge, a spectacular new roller coaster build by Rocky Mountain Construction! Along with capturing the awesome atmosphere of the opening day, we also experience many of the other major roller coasters at Hersheypark, including Candymonium, Skyrush, Great Bear and many more. We also ride some of the family attractions on offer and experience Hershey’s Chocolate World right next door to the theme park!

      I live in Hershey and you guys from the UK beat me to Wildcat’s Revenge! I am thrilled that Hershey took what was arguably the worst ride in the park and made it perhaps the best! I can’t wait to get on it! Thanks for giving me my first look! ❤️😀

      So glad you got to see Hersheypark now that the entrance is complete. It was a mess when you were there in 2019. I am sure this USA road-trip feels different. No one cried on the Hershey Chocolate World ride and no one is telling corny jokes. Lol.

      Candymonium may have been closed for wind. It is one of the quickest coasters I've seen to close for that. There is a wind sensor atop the lift. I've seen it close when ground winds are in the low teens (in mph).

      I really appreciate that you take care to mention the opening year and manufacturer of each coaster in your videos. Although trip report videos aren’t uncommon, knowledgeable ones are. Wishing you continued sunny days and acceptable operations on your journey.

      I would have enjoyed seeing Charlotte’s reaction to the Reese’s dark ride, but there’s no denying you guys made the most of your time.

      I think personally as a viewer I get a little more out of seeing you do a totally unique attraction that would allow on-ride filming than I do from just a series of coaster reactions and reviews, but there’s no denying for how slammed that park was, the amount of credits you guys got in was impressive.

      I know you dont like it but you want to consider doing fast passes at some of the bigger parks that are busy, takes the stress and waiting off, more vlogging content 🙂

      HERSHEY IS A 55 BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY…GIVING OUT MINI PIECES OF CHOCOLATE, AT THE END OF THE TOUR, TO PEOPLE THAT PAID FULL PRICE TO ENTER THEIR PARK, PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AT THEIR PARK. PAYING CUSTOMERS SHOULD RECEIVE A KING SIZED CANDY BAR AT THE END. LET'S SEE IF YOU'LL DELETE THIS COMMENT TOO.

      Skyrush is a much better ride than Candymonium restraints did not bother me, I actually prefered it to Wildcats Revenge as Wildcats Revenge did not seem as punchy as other RMCs I have done like Zadra, Untamed and Iron Gwazi

      For me I slot Wildcat just ahead of Twisted Timbers and behind Twisted Colossus. I don’t think it comes close to Steel Vengeance or even Hakugei. Still a top tier coaster in the grand scheme. I’m definitely more of a fan or the quick, punchy RMC elements as opposed to the more drawn out elements like Wildcat has. I’ll be getting in Iron Gwazi next week to see where it stacks up. Based on my preferences, I expect #2 behind Steel Vengeance.

      Wildcats revenge looks amazing! All the parks so far have been really impressive and they all look so clean and well maintained even the rides.

      I’m only 22 mins in the video but struggling to see any worn paint so far even on the supports😂.
