Great job chaps. I was funtunate enough to start my school life in 1955. learnt how do my sums without a calculator and to string a sentence together. Downside, I was caned on my arse.
I think AI, whether on purpose or not, will show false stories, images, videos etc that many (vast majority of people) will only see the headline, image or video and don’t question if it’s true or not. With this in mind, mass opinions can be altered and that same message is then repeated and resonated amongst people, giving further integrity that the false story/image/video is in fact really. We will not know the truth, and that’s where any narrative can be made “true” and lead vast numbers of people down any given path of belief and compliance with little questioning
I think Y2K would have been bad if we did nothing about it.
I remember Microsoft reassuring customers that the fix will be in the next update. All new computers would have limitless years for the internal calendar (No end date) There were a few small airports that shut down for a day or two Until their computers were upgraded.
No one can say what would have happened if we were not PREPared FOR IT. ; )
