This is very unique vampire story, which are rare in Britain, usually featuring in Slavic or Eastern European folklore. This one is similar to a a boggart or goblin type haunting as well as having aspects of night terrors.

  1. This was a fantastic story! Gave me the chills and glad this Texas girl keeps a pistol by her bed lol!
And i just love your green bus!

  2. They way you described the vampire, reminds me of a wraith(?) Raith(?) In america. Very creepy. That is an interesting take with the sleep paralysis aspect. Thank you for another great storyā¤until next time. 😊

  3. Well this was properly terrifying! The more consistent sound balancing is much appreciated, and it’s super cool that you’re going around collecting folktales in a bus! I love the harrowing, unexplained nuance that a child could’ve become such a revolting vampire, or a boggart-like creature simply commandeered one’s grave; you really captured the buildup and pacing of that terror well. Kudos! And yeah you’re right, it’s not very common to hear of vampires or similar bloodsuckers in Celtic mythology; I loved hearing that tidbit about how rare this is!
