      Well, Just a question is the suica pass card with your name on it considered a registered pass? The robot restaurant is something I'd really only attend if food was good. Course I've yet to have really bad meal in Japan but if it were to happen I'm sure that it would be a showy place hoping the spectacle takes your focus away from the food. JR pass, as it has been since I heard about the price increase a firm we'll see if it's a worthwhile deal.
      I don't know how Nathan does it but he's always in the know on Japan travel issues, good or bad. That's why I'm a subscriber and viewer. 🍣 I still think this looks like a hot dog in a bun.

      Definitely be on our to do list. As for the JR Pass?? Not sure, it’ll depend on how many cities we visit. Great video, quality usable information 🍣

      🍣🐒 nice information Ninja I never thought I'd see the Robot Restaurant back , it's going to be a great family friendly place , I went to it during the daytime on it's 3rd year anniversary and received robot plushies

      I have booked again for my 3rd trip in twelve months and will be staying for 25 nights starting the end of September, this time I will be in Kawasaki City.

      The only issue with mobile Suica is, at the moment, JR is NOT accepting visa credit/debit cards at the moment.

      I have a Mastercard Credit and a Visa Debit card, so as of right now, the only loophole is to use credit and then instantly pay the card off. Believe it or not, it is an extra hassle. So unless Japan is temporarily lift this stupid visa restriction, you’re gonna have quite a bit of angry tourists and new residents having to deal with the unnecessary hassle..

      Bummed about the suica shortage as I was planning on them for my kids next month. Mobile suica isn’t a good option for kids.
      Still a happy gaijin, just disappointed and have to figure out another solution
      I was excited about Robot Restaurant reopening but it is now 18+ so that’s out too. Had a blast when I was there in 2016

      most will just remain in tokyo or osaka or kyoto without the jr pass. tokyo seems the easiest to branch out though

      I got home 48 hours ago from my 3 week trip to Japan. I literally fell in love with this incredible country. I kept hold of my SUICA card as I'm hoping to return to Japan for my birthday in four months.

      how long will the shortage last? i will arive 10.july. do you think the suica card will still be limited?
      and what does limited means? they will hand out x amount of cards every day?

      Good thing I made my trip to Japan recently. I bought the monorail Suica card from Haneda and kept it for future travels. I never checked the Kabukicho Tower, but I did go to Kabukicho.

      Woah, crazy to hear about the Robot Restaurant reopening. I think it must have moved locations as the previous place now has been revamped into Gira-Gira Girls (ギラギラガールズ). Also, two hours of robot restraunting seems way too long. Even the previous 90 minute show felt like too much haha. 🍣🤖

      I hope the regional passes don't get hit, or at least not as big, because I got my eyes on the Hokuriku Arch Pass for my upcoming trip as a replacement. We already got hotels booked in Kanazawa and a night at a Ryokan at Bessho Onsen! 🍣
