The main places I wanted to visit during my stay in Kutaisi were located just outside the city centre (more of those later!). On my first full day in Kutaisi, I decided to visit the attractions closer to the city centre.
I had already warmed to the city from the short exploration the previous day. It continued to impress with what it had to offer. From Soviet architecture and rusted cable cars to river views and the most bizarre chapel I have ever seen!
