      Favourite Aircraft from an economy class point of view has to be the A380
      I find the 787 and the A350 ridiculously cramped in economy
      obviously this doesn’t apply to business class
      I specifically hunt out which Aircraft (A380) Qatar uses on on different routes and book accordingly
      flying beyond Doha you don’t get the A380 choice normally

      Hey Matt, if you do do a video on the Amex Plat, have a close look at the insurance. The insurance offering on the business card is really quite excellent and having had 3 or 4 claims now I can say they are a delight to deal with compared to any other travel insurance company.

      Similar extra story – on holiday in Lanzarote in the late 80s and the time share we were stopping in put a sign up asking for extras. Volunteered. and got the part as a tour rep at the airport – turns out it was German Sex Comedy. I'm told it was fairly tame stuff, nothing worse than the Confessions films of the 70s 🙂

      Some good questions and some great answers, Matt 👍🏻 I've been on an A330 neo but haven't made it on an A350 or 787 yet, annoyingly. I've never had a bad flight on an A380. I agree that they're impressively quiet and I think they're just very pleasant to be aboard, despite not having the iconic swagger of a 747, if you know what I mean.

      My dad used to do consulting work in Canada. Every time he flew over the immigration staff would interrogate him asking why he was taking Canadians jobs. His response was well the Canadian government are paying for me to teach you

      I’m lucky, I don’t sleep much, 3-5 hours per day (unless drunk 😂)
      Never got jet lag, never had a problem of any kind with time zones

      I don't want to be pedantic.having a cyst removed by local anaesthesia is not how you worded the question "major full face ". and that Liverpool flag looks far too new. So there you go.

      Matt thanks for making my wee question into such a cool segment in an (as always) enjoyable video! And no, I didn't get it correct! I think the real lie must be your profession, you're far too creative to be an accountant 🤣(although I have heard of 'creative accounting', but not in my tax return I assure you)

      Congrats on the 10k. I would encourage you to look into taking some sort of fly/train experience when you are planning to travel across the US. On my last trip I was travelling to the US for a month (with a bicycle) and I figured it would be easier to get to the starting of our cycling trip (Denver) by taking the Amtrak from Washington via Chicago. I had plenty time and I didn't want the hassle of getting luggage across various airports, plus I wanted to see parts of the interior. It was all quite an experience, and it gets much more scenic after Denver as the route goes through the Rockies, but we saw enough of those mountains on our bikes.

      Damn I thought home & away was the lie as i swear that you was in an episode of prisoner cell block H with the wobbly walls as Bee’s brother 😂. Only pulling your leg Matt, thanks for answering my question shame you didn’t get to fly Concorde & yes it is very narrow the 2 2 seat arrangement is lovely though & the service was amazing including the Concorde lounge. The funny thing about the flight though is you fly Concorde to get to your destination quickly but the whole experience was over in a few hours yet we wanted it go on much longer strange but true.

      Matt, how about Gold Leaf service on the Rocky Mountaineer with a flight review of air canada Busines class (if yo can get into the country lol) or even outbound on one of the queens then the train journey.

      I'm surprised to hear you say that about supersonic travel. You must have seen United purchase 15 of Boom's 'overture' supersonic jets. Whilst it's not due to come into operation until 2028 at the earliest, it's a heavy investment and although it's fuel intensive to get to that Mach 2 speed. It only needs to be at that speed for 2hr 50mins to go from LHR TO JFK instead of the current 8hr flight time.

      If you're looking for analysis into the Amex Platinum card I'm happy to send you my excel analysis I did. I travel a hell of a lot with my partner based in Texas and me in London. I can't recommend it enough. I took mine out in October last year when it had the same boosted welcome bonus as it has now. I've taken 29 flights since I took the card out and I'm currently in profit Vs the annual fee by £330 PLUS 70,000 points on my portal…with another 4 months left until renewal!
