This week, we take a short break from travelling in our self converted campervan in Europe (specifically France) to make a different video all about our lives as digital nomads, working remotely, and what you all seem to be most interested in, what it is like to be a travel vlogger, making YouTube videos from our van. Is it actually worth it? Could we live off of YouTube revenue alone? And what does Emily actually do?

These are all topics we’ve discussed in the past in Q and A’s and livestreams but we thought we’d try to make a video that actually SHOWS you our daily life, what we do to create the content, and how we balance our two jobs whilst living in a van.

I haven’t included the wildlife filming kit as I believe if you want to go down that road there’s probably far better options out there now, the kit I use is designed for photos and about 7 years out of date. When I can upgrade mine, I’ll let you all know what I go for then, but right now I’m using a Nikon d750 with a sigma 150-600mm C lens.
