    Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

    We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted 😉

    So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

    Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

    4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to 😉 Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time.

    After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer 🙂

    We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

      As a train enthusiast, I’m more of a fan of the Northern Belle rather than the Northern Belle. The locomotives that haul the Pullman are most of the time Class 66s or Class 67s which were made for freight (they’re mixed traffic, but mainly built for freight). However, the Northern Belle on the other hand are pulled by pure British Engineering (Class 47s or Class 57s, they are also both mixed traffic but they were used for passenger trains back in the British Rail Nationalisation days). The only thing I prefer the British Pullman to the Northern Belle are the carriages.

      Kara & Nate, there is a reason you always get treated well when you travel in luxurious accommodations, airlines,or trains; you treat the the staff as friends not as servants. Those passengers who travel this way see them as subservient to them. Love your channel.

      Unfortunately we will be leaving the channel. We followed for the adventure but as well as the food reviews. There are barley any food reviews and u are vegan now which extremely limits the food reviews. Good luck to you both. I love u guys but there isn't that excitement my husband and I used to enjoy.

      Absolutely love this video! Yall are the cutest! Not sure if it's been said or not. But google steeped tea bag for stye. Relieves irritation within 20 minutes, and wake up the next day to it gone. But you have to allow the tea bag to retain some of the tea "juices" so you can saturate the eye/eyelid pretty well.
      I normally use lipton tea bags.
      Anywho… stay safe on yalls travels! Wishing yall the best life has to offer!♡

      I truly love Kara and Nate because not once will you feel that they are taking for granted the things they are experiencing. Kara especially, always have the brightest reactions to whatever they see or eat or do. Grateful for these two. Love from the Philippines!

      Kinda hilarious that you took the luxury train to Bath and then back to London only to take a regular train from London to Cardiff that also passes through Bath afterwords when the direct train from Bath to Cardiff would have been like a 30 minute journey.

      While I appreciate these fancy travel videos. I do have to admit that I enjoy it less than affordable travel videos. Because I’ll never afford to do any of this. So I have to admit that I’m watching the channel less because of that. 😢
