  1. Click here https://partner.bokksu.com/gaijingoombah and use my code "GAIJIN15" to get $15 off your first Bokksu Japanese snack box! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR WATCHING! I have a LOT of different ideas for more videos that deal with Japan more directly INCLUDING a few videos on places in Japan I went to that I didn't mention here. So I hope you'll stick around and have a look!

  2. I also visited japan 2 weeks ago and it was nice to be back in Tokyo. I usually stay in Koenji in Tokyo and there's been a lot gentrification due to Covid but it's good to see some normality again. One thing I'm happy for is a lot of places are becoming non-smoking. I've been traveling to japan for over 23 years now and the non-smoking thing is definitely a good change. Anyways I'm headed back in august!😂😂

  3. Hey Gaijin. Great to see that you've enjoyed the experience in this segment of the video. Looks like what you need is a company that's gonna sponsor you to stay in Japan making content.

  4. Not gonna lie this is the exact sentiment I went through. During COVID the way Japan treated me and others as foreigners really upset me so like the others i felt that we blocked it from our minds

  5. Visiting Japan is something that is very high on my bucket list. Don't think it will ever happen, mainly because of financial issues, but that still hasn't removed it from the list.

  6. Gaijin! I was just thinking about you the other day. I wanted you to know that you have nothing to be ashamed of. You not only confronted your own fears but you confirmed what many of us already know: it's ok to get help when you need it. Bravo, my dude. I look forward to many more videos with your infectious love for Japan. Thank you for coming back and welcome! We missed you! ❤

  7. I hope to be rich enough to go to Japan some day. I figure with my current income it will take about a decade of saving to go for about a week.

  8. 5:38 (Japanese above the trinkets says please don't take photographs"写真撮影はご遠慮下さい")
Goombah: (Take a photo of the trinkets, including the instruction to not take photographs)
    Naughty Goombah XDDDD

  9. The irony for me in this case is that I do not discover your channel until cove it happened. Which means while my interest in Japan was waining And the use prior given my lack of ability to learn anything, I actually found my love for it growing during the lockdown mostly because of yo

  10. In mid 2023 and only now are people starting to walk around without masks? This is why I can't go back there despite living there and loving it for 6 years. I can't take that weird mask mentality. I miss that place so much, but I feel like the place I left no longer exists.

  11. It's great to hear you're doing better! I've been watching your channel for about 7 ish years now and I could tell the pandemic really got you down with not being able to move to Japan.

And gosh, I wish I could go! I don't have the money to go and I've never been out of the US. Hopefully one day I get to!

  12. I've been subscribed for YEARS but your videos haven't showed up in my feed again until today!!! Its great watching your content again and seeing how far you've come!!

  13. Looking to head to Japan this November (Just need to get the time off), last time I went was in 2016 and it was phenomenal. The only thing having me worried is all the planning that goes into it (And whatever tests they'll require you to take prior to entering the country).
