We’re Free camping along Lake Superior for our last week in Ontario before we start booking it west towards Alberta. Our Cross-Canada road trip is in full swing! We’re checking out Pebble Beach, Terence Bay Lighthouse, Aguasabon Falls and Gorge, and the Nipigon overlook. We even manage to find a free campsite at a ship graveyard, and are keeping a keen lookout for moose. 🇨🇦

  1. I lived in the apt building right beside Pebble Beach for 5 years. That section of the Trans-Canada Highway is some of the most beautiful drives in North America. (Ive driven a lot of the highways in N. America) So wonderful see sights from my younger years
Please enjoy your time, thank you for all of your wonderful videos

  2. A moose was seen wandering downtown Edmonton, Alberta this week. It’s exciting to see the snow capped Rocky Mountains from Calgary this morning, just waiting for you. Morning & evening are the best times to see them. When you get to Banff, there is a summer ski Gondola open at Lake Louise, then a short drive later, you can head north on Highway 93, the Ice fields highway, and all the way to Jasper is the most awesome, spectacular Mountain scenery, including the Icefields Glacier, good road in spring and summer, fill with fuel when leave Banff (or Canmore). There’s an amazing trail guide book available of hikes and walking trails in the Rockies showing distance, time and amenities for each, that you could check off and date when you complete each. A great souvenir of western Canada. In the National Parks in Banff and Jasper signs are bilingual in both national languages, French and English. There are music and cultural festivals, weekly produce markets all across Canada to see and do. Check out Edmonton Folk Festival in August!

  3. There is something MAJOR you are missing from your Canada bucket list. You NEED to try maple cookies. You can find them in the cookie aisle at any grocery store!

  4. You had to have meant 1000 Meters not 1000 Km cause that would be 621 miles down… but I had to literally check the km to miles conversion myself cause I also am not hip on Km or meters. The more you know.. 🙂 Take care hope to see you guys on the road some time.

  5. 6. So fun to watch. Being 60 plus years old it is refreshing to watch a young couple start to experience the gift of traveling and just living life. Enjoy. Canada "Rocks"!!

  7. Take your time going through bc. There's some real beauty out there. One spot I recommend is the waterfalls in Clearwater bc if you can find some time. 😊

  8. The canyon is 330 ft deep. The 1000 km sign at the canyon was explaining the following: Arctic plants, usually found 1000km to the north survive in the unique environment at the bottom of the canyon.

  9. Subscribed . . . . .

My wife and I depart Scotland to visit Canada in two weeks time – love your videos and your insight into this amazing Country 🙂

  10. My wife are freshly retired, avid RVers, located in Northern Saskatchewan and I have been enjoying your videos very much. Looking at Canada through your eyes is fresh and interesting, and your Ontario videos make us want to head east again. On your next trip to Canada I would suggest deviating a bit from the Trans Canada Highway in Saskatchewan to check out Prince Albert National Park, where you might wake up to see Elk happily munching grass out the window of your camper. Another suggestion for Canadian snacks has got to be Hawkins Cheezies. Enjoy Banff, it's beautiful, cheers.

  11. My family and I just got back from Banff Canmore and Calgary. Wow, what wonderful and beautiful places. Loving these Canadian adventures from you both. Canada has quickly become my favorite country. Such nice people and a lot less traffic than the US

  12. Yeah, you could have taken the easy way to get to that park, but you would have missed seeing the bear. It pays to get off the beaten path sometimes. Hey Jimmy, don’t feel bad they misspelled my name too on the other boat.😆

  13. "High moose alert" my first thought was Moose don't eat marijuana… but I suppose it would be legal…

The bear I'm sure was more scared of you. They generally avoid humans is given the option. That one looks big enough to be on its own but not fully grown… so likely only a few years old… but hard to tell from a video.

And… assuming you made it to Alberta by the clips at the end… welcome to my part of the world. I'm not exactly close to Banff… but closer than lake Superior. 🤣

  14. Anxiously await your drive to reach me in Calgary, AB!!! Loving the adventure and getting to see so much of our wonderful country (I'm originally from Ontario so have just been LOVING the videos!!)

  15. Second largest country in the world. Now we are fourty million people. We have a lot of reasons to come back many times. Are you going to have Canadian food? In Edmonton we had a moose downtown. You should have done more research. There are numerous things one can do between Ontario and Banff.

  16. I almost cried when I saw a black bear in Yellowstone last year visiting from the UK…… I totally get the pure joy you obviously felt. Amazing!!! You two are definitely my favourite young van couple ❤❤❤

  17. Hey Jimmy & Natalie I just subscribed to watch your adventures. FYI Banff & Jasper got caught in that big snowstorm on June 20. And North Bay has extremely poor air quality right now. Due to the forest fires in the area. Love how chill you guys are with slight disappointments along the way. Safe travels ❤

  18. I'm so glad your having such a great time in Canada. There are so many beautiful things to see. June is really just when things are starting to warm up so take your time have fun you've just started. 🥰 Safe travels
