Working in the gulf is useless, no matter how long you stay there you can never be integrated. No green card, No permanent residency and you can never get their passport. You just work, work. In the western world you can apply for their passports after 5 years living there even below. I left Dubai after I spent 5 years and I got my Swedish passport in less than 3 years
