      Anywhere is Switzerland is just wonderful. If you get to Interlaken between Lake Brienz and lake Thun, you can take the train to the top of the Jaungfau mountain. 11,333ft. Be warned it's pricey, but the experience will live with you forever. The glacier. The snow. The husky rides and the Ice Palace meet you at the top after the most amazing scenery from the carriage.I'm envious of you being in Switzerland. Meanwhile back home, we take our van to the South Coast next week for ten days. We'll enjoy ourselves, but it doesn't have the same ring does it ? !! Thanks for sharing your adventures.       I fell through our camper bed, one night, had to sleep sitting up all night, daves side was ok so he slept well. We leave a basic tool kit in our camper all of the time.

      If your in Switzerland go to camping jungfrau and take the cable cars and train up to the mountain opposite the eiger, don’t take the train thing that goes through the eiger as it’s about €160 per person and not worth the money. The route up the mountain opposite is breath taking. If I remember you take the first cable car then a short train then another cable car up to the mountain. But everything will be explained at the campsite(campsite will be expensive). Regards nick

      hi All, Calamity strikes. again, never a dull moment. The problem with most motorhomes is they are all built to a price and with as little weight as possible. hence failures. hope you got it fixed OK. The big problem the Swiss have is prices are sky high. I Basle a city of the countries, most live if possible in the French & German quarters. enjoy while can.

      Do you worry about running out of money? We spent 2 years in our van but didn't have the nerve to sell up but rented our house out! The income just wasn't quite enough so we are back at work saving up! Do you have a second property to fall back on or enough put aside for another property one day or a plan for when the cash is all used up? Very gutsy to give up everything unless you have a plan b!!

      Well, another lovely venture, what lovely campsites and views. well, they do say life starts at 39 +1 (you don’t look it), and we think Stu needs a good drink when he has repaired the bed. (it happened to us when we had a caravan). Joe & Ellie.
