This week our van life adventures in Europe take us to visit the Malpasset Dam in the south of France. This is a very sad story and we can’t believe we’d never heard it!
To us van life isn’t always about great park ups, we want to learn about the culture and the history of the countries we drive our self converted campervan to. We also find a dried out lake, visit St Raphael on the French riviera and find our first hot shower in 4 WEEKS! The reality of van life isn’t always glamorous for vanlife couples ya know!
We also visit out first french campsite of this European road trip, and of course, theres a 2 minute tour, it wouldn’t be a proper camper vibe travel series without at least one in each country!
Hopefully you are enjoying this European travel series as much as we are, and we are managing to show you just some of the stunning landscapes that France has to offer in this French travel vlog.

Do you think the lack of water in the lake is down to the amount of water that they were using during the pandemic to keep washing their hands?

This must be what the French supernatural thriller series, The Returned (Les Revenants) must be based on. Great series, I highly recommend it. The Americans did a trash remake, so don't watch that one.

Have you heard of Healed. A pad of red lights to help healing by increasing blood supply to an injured area. Much like KLaser but obviously not as powerful. One of my dogs uses one three times a day and it has helped her arthritis superbly. It would also be good for ligaments etc.
Loved the “2” min tour today. Sorry Lou, but Emily’s push into the pool w your beloved hat on was brilliant! I had so many laughs w the pizza square, and the death bus comments. You both are such bright lights in a crazy old world. Thanks for including us!!!!

I do like your channel and your videos. But I would like to comment that you should SHOWER Before entering the swimming pool – it is common courtesy. After 3 weeks of not showering is even worse in your case .
I clean my pool filter weekly and it is always full of human deutritis after rentals , whom know no better .
