Can the DJI Mavic Mini stand up to drones twice its price? Here I compare it to the DJI Mavic Air with video taken in the same location and conditions. The Air can easily beat this little drone in the hands of an experienced drone pilot, but I’m not yet an experienced drone pilot. For the novice or recreational drone pilot, or as a very portable drone for travel, the Mavic Mini gets my vote. And as a spare drone it fits the bill too, allowing you to capture great video with little effort.
