Thailand should copy them !!! 😂 Frightening memories only few years I used to work as a flight attendant there a lot staying at Swissotel what I recalled about USD 200 a night crew rate hi rise just opposite the casino !       Hey Chuck & Paige, Raffles Hotel (the original colonial hotel downtown) that you passed by is where the 'Singapore Sling' cocktail was invented. I've had one of those (only one – it was expensive and that was 40 years ago) in the 'White Long Room' inside Raffles where it's rumoured that in it's early days they had tigers in that room – obviously tethered and possibly drugged to be docile. Not something you would see today. It has a rich history though. I think the British were in control when it was built.

      Ha ha ha….you guys..I would not consider Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Turkey , etc. part of Asia. The Middle East comes to mind ; you know Irag, Iran…..the Arabic countries. Ahh..what do I know…I know I love you guys and you conversations…you just kind of shoot from the hip most of the time…the way life should be…imho. 😊😊😊 So…and on further consideration…about the ASEAN countries of the Far East, the Arabic Middle East countries are part of the continent of Asia and Turkey and Russia border Europe and sometimes considered part of Eurasia…So….you guys are absolutely correct in your discussion about Asia…I am older than you guys and am easily confused…and amused. Thanks George and you family for showing us all around Singapore …a great city and one the major digital business hubs of the world. 😊😊😊

      Your country Vloger Lilly Life showed a more in-depth part of the Marina Bay Hotel. The more expensive side.
      Enjoyed her vlog, but I am more for the frugal side.
      We went to Singapore about 2017 . Enjoyed my stay very much. Hope see it again.

      I've been to most of the continents except Africa and I can honestly that Singapore is probably the best country I've been to! The people, food, transportation system, security, etc. It's just incredible

      Been there twice, seems like Singaporeans strive to be boujee, mostly chinese. Glad Singapore set many of these rules and regulations, as some Chinese were known to misbehave when travelling i.e. graffiti on the great pyramids.

      Hey Chuck and Paige and Thai Girl Gift and Foreigner Joe and George and family, loving this trip to Singapore. If I had known there was a Mexican restaurant there I probably would have gone there. Maybe next trip to Singapore. I have never been to the top of the building with the surfboard on top so that will be something for my next trip. The room in the hotel is really nice and to be honest, the price is not that bad considering what you get.

      I'm glad you are showing how easy it is to get around in Singapore. The MRT is a great system for getting from one side of the city to the other side. The amount of free or low costs things to do is good for people who want to go to Singapore but don't have a lot of extra money. I think Singapore has something for all budgets.

      You will enjoy the enclosed gardens and make sure you go to the top of the waterfall. It is worth the climb.

      Ive always wanted to visit Singapore ive heard the airport is amazing but thanks to your great videos and your cheap accommodation it will be much easier to stay for 1 or 2 days. Now i cant wait to visit. Thanks Chuck and Paige. Many other YouTubers do videos but they dont show cheap accommodation if they show accommodation its of that very expensive hotel

      ….As a Singaporean born & bread , Singapore may have a shinier, cleaner & be safer than most Asean cities but there is definitely a lacking of that connection of that "soul of a place." feeling …
      Singapore; other than its bling bling exterior, one can't really feel the deep connection to it other than its just a city to work & make $ in…
      can't wait to retire to Bkk , Cnx or etc etc pretty soon…. these cities may not be have that superficial shinny exterior like boring soulless Singapore but they definitely have the character & anyone thats been there can definitely feel a soul connection to these cities.

      Singapore as good as it looks , it's not a place to live unless you've got excessive money . KL is half price Penang etc … Singapore is safe but I've found Malaysia just as safe

      Back in the 80's I stayed at a hostel in Singapore and saw a few of the locations featured on your channel. Singapore has certainly changed since then! You have motivated me to visit again, but this time it will not in a hostel, lol. I love the inexpensive food options as opposed to fancy restaurants. You guys are having a wonderful time and building memories for a lifetime.
