Not knowing what day of the week we are is an indicative of reaching the pinnacle of relaxation !! and peace of mind . The hostel room is very expensive, with an air fan and without a toilet! Tourism is expensive in Switzerland!!
What a pity you have left Greek islands, expected more! Switzerland is a beautiful country but is too expensive, the food is meh and the landscape isn’t so special. French, Italian, Austrian Alps, Carpathian Mountains in Romania, Pindos in Greece are equally impressive. I hope you reach Norway later in summer. Yes, it is expensive but the Norwegian currency is at its weakest right now and the landscape is one of the most unique in the world.
I was 6 when you was 17 😎🤟
I think you are a little bit bored
It is a point to point ticket valid for any train in that route for the entire day. If you had chosen a specific time or journey, it would have been significantly cheaper.
What with Abram? Miss him. What happened? I´m sorry, if I am to personal. Looking forward to see Matterhorn.
Hi Gabriel, it's good to get in and roam around the city and see some sites but the real adventure is going to the Matterhorn. The Aps were spectacular when you were there last time. The traveling sites you have gone to so far have been incredible. I see more of the same incredible sights and sounds.
Gabriel got out of Greece just in time as temps go into the 100's.
4 months in 1990 and only 3 max allowed in 2023.. Is the world moving backwards?
02:14 Greek embassy?
The fourth language is actually romansh.
Swiss german
French
Italian
Romansh(italogerman)
The train ticket is quite expensive. Zermatt is only about 200 kilometers away.
Nice story, old pictures are hilarious and Geneva is beautiful.
Same as walking through a cards for occasions section in the shop picking up a card not looking at the cover to open and read the message then guessing the occasion you view each Gabriel traveler day that way the church with show offs their best clothes. Sunday:)

Haha, I love it! I recently traveled globally for the last 10 months or so, it was fun waking up each day not knowing what day it was! The important part was just knowing when to pack up for the next destination. Aspire to have Gabriel’s life! Ha
Ironically, at about the 2-minute point in this video, it looked like you walked right past the Greek embassy.
I wasn’t a fan of Geneva. It felt too much like Paris with so many immigrants. The lake was nice but it felt very un-Swiss. I much prefer Zürich and the Swiss German and Swiss Italian areas.
Gabriel – FYI, Schengen rule for Americans without a visa is now 90 days within 180 calendar days, calculated on a rolling basis…going & returning does not reset the count
That coincidence you mentioned of running into someone you knew from a year before in the tent next to you is really surprising.
Was that after the Kundalini experience you have mentioned having, or was that before it?
Do you think that was possibly a psychic experience, or do to you think it was just a mere coincidence?
Have you stayed in touch with that person?
I had something similar back in March 2019. I had just walked into Taco Bell in Bangkok and someone called my name, I looked around didn't recognize anyway, someone called my name again. Anyway I see this man with receding hair and a bit overweight calling me, I thought who the hell is that. He then walks up the table where he was sitting and says remember me it's Rob from GJB. I use to work for a window company in the UK making uPVC windows and he remembered me from there, but it was probably around 15 years back since I saw him last. The last time I saw him he had dreads and a goatee beard, we went out for a beer the next day in Soi Cowboy.
Keeping time, time, time, In a sort of Runic rhyme, To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells From the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bells — From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells. At about 19:00 I just couldn't get it out of my head for a while. 🌲😎🌲
I once ordered a normal sandwich and drink in Switzerland on my way to Italy and i'm still paying off my debt lol. Most ridiculous prices i've ever been. And sure, their nature is wonderfull, just like in every other country i have been. So no need to sell your kidneys on the darkweb for a small weekendtrip.
When you said now that’s a big bird. Did you know it was a Swan 🦢. Lol
It looks like one would blow one monthly salary in less than ten days in Switzerland by just renting an apartment, and eating out at takeaways or restaurants, with no particular luxury.
Seems like you left Greece before it heated up even more. Good timing.
Outward Bound is great! I know people who have sworn by it.
That “ large bird” was a swan, Gabriel! But you knew that anyway, didn’t you?
Such a peaceful city and great info aswell 💚
27:02 For the record, yes, I know what swans are.😛Just a random moment of stating the obvious, that they're rather large.
Switzerland is expensive Gabriel certainly the $51 meal in Geneva and $113.19 train ticket fare from Geneva to Zermatt..you are a pioneer in cost savings in travel so what would your advice be to a traveller who wants to visit Zurich for 3 days ..what kind of budget (minimum cost in US $) should that US tourist look at in the timeframe of July / August 2024 ? What additional cost will that tourist be prepared to bear for visit to Interlaken for a day trip by train?
Gabe, question when you were in Malta did you see the set of new Gladiator movie? Was curious. Looks like they are building a replica of Coliseum.
10:22 Lol at the people drawing attention to themselves acting like fools
Isn’t Switzerland part of Schengen? Does the 90 day rule not apply here?
