We visited Sevilla, the capital of Andalucía, Spain to show how much fun it is to visit there. I also teach you about some of the places to see, things to eat, and of course, the incredible history.

Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures – big or small – and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It’s kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I’ve always been extremely passionate about what I’m doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I’ve made over 150 Youtube videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we’re just getting started.

  1. Great content. You have great knowledge and understanding of the history and culture which is so important when traveling.
I really like the format you use for your videos because it gives a more realistic picture of the places you visit. Also on Wisconsin!

  2. Las ciudades de Andalucía interior mejor , conocerlas en otoño invierno o primavera!! Si hubiese sabido que ibas a Sevilla te hubiera recomendado ir al bar El Paseíllo, un saludo Elliot

  3. Don't pay attention to hatters saying you shouldn't promote Spain because we already have too many tourists. They're never enough 😂
Yes, trying to rent a place in touristic areas can be insane but high prices are a modern desease everywhere in Europe anyway.

  4. when I was out in the south in 40+ degrees I was the only nutter that was on the streets while everyone was inside I was enjoying myself though

  7. Ice cold cañas is the only way to drink Mahou, Cruzcampo and rubias like them, they don't have a lot of flavour. Sevilla is a great city but in summer is too much 🥵 I hope you don't get demonetised for the Farruko in the background there 😬
Plaza de España is my personal favourite square in all of Spain. Great video again bro 👌

  9. 13:05 you need some history lessons, Malaga was ruled by Muslim Arabs from about 700 to 1239, during that time most of its population were Arabic speaking Arabs, Amazigh (called berber by europeans which is a deragatory term) and Jews and Mozarabs (people lived in the Iberian peninsula since before year 700 and adopted the Arabic language and culture, that's more than 600 years, longer than the united states existed. Isabella and Fernandes came from the north, occupied lands, started genocides and repopulation.
Before 700 Malaga was under Byzantine control.

  10. IT WASN'T JUST THE SPANISH WHO ENSLAVED PEOPLE IN THE AMERICAS. THE BRITISH AND THE FRENCH DID THE SAME. A LOT OF NORTH AMERICAN INDIANS HAD BEEN KILLED BY OTHER EUROPEANS, WHO WERE NOT SPANISH. DON'T JUST BLAME THE SPANISH FOR WHAT HAPPENED IN THE AMERICAS BECAUSE OTHER EUROPEANS WERE JUST AS GUILTY. BLACK AMERICANS ARE GENETICALLY MIXED WITH THE WHITE SOUTHERN AMERICANS, WHO HAD ENSLAVED THEM. THE WHITE AMERICAN SOUTHERNERS WHO HAD DONE THIS, WERE BRITISH IMMIGRANTS FROM THE UK AND NOT SPAIN WHICH IS WHY MOST BLACK AMERICANS HAVE BRITISH SURNAMES.

  11. Thank you for continuing to prove raw, genuine content covering Spain, Elliot. I plan to cover Valencia in a similar style when I head there in September!

  12. I guess you meant to say "Lawrence of Arabia".
    Not "The Prince of…".
Directed in 1962 by David Lean.
Peter O'Toole as Lawrence with Alec Guinness playing Prince Faisal.

  13. Sevilla was named as "El puerto de Indias". It was like New York in the 16th century, a cosmopolitan and great city. Welcome to the Mediterranean world

  14. This video was great! Very informative! I love Sevilla more now! Lol I hope to return one day. I love the people there, so nice!

  15. Am wondering now about the heat, am living in Las Vegas where right now is 107 to 117 f, and the feeling is like being inside an oven, but our humidity doesn't go over 15%, so is really hot but no humidity, so how is humidity in Sevilla?

  16. Great informative video as always. Another American here whose hoping to bump into you at Feria Malaga next month.👍
