    TRIP REPORT | First Time on Jet2 A321Neo! | Mallorca to Manchester | JET2 Airbus A321Neo



    Jet2 Trip Report flying from Palma to Manchester onboard one of the Jet2 Airbus A321Neo on a perfect and very warm summer day.

    A comfortable flight from Mallorca to Manchester onboard the brand-new Jet2 Airbus A321Neo. This was my first time flying on the Jet A321Neo and I must say is a significant improvement. The cabin is basically the same as always but the noise level with the new-gen engines is much lower.

    After a nice bus boarding across Palma airport, we boarded the Jet A321 Neo and taxied to runway 24R. The takeoff was simply amazing. Departing from this runway you get perfect views of Palma and the port. We could even see from above the cruise ship Costa Fortuna, the sister of the Costa Fascinosa I showed you a few videos ago on the Condor Trip Report.

    After leaving the island behind we flew towards Barcelona and then the Pyrenees. It was peak summer, so we could see some developing storm clouds already over the mountains. We crossed all France from southeast to northeast. After crossing the English Channel we finally entered the UK, flying in direct course to Manchester.

    We landed around 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time of arrival in Manchester after a beautiful approach overflying the always-green landscapes of this area of the UK.

      Sorry for the question, i love your videos and watch them always but i am interested in what you think about the environment when you are flying? Do you not care or do you something else to compensate your Co² emissions?

      Been to Mallorca last August 2022 for the first time. Loved it. Hope to go back again. I’m flying back home in two weeks time can’t wait 🇵🇹🇬🇧🥰

      I watch Mentour Pilot. I think he said something about Airbus could deliver aircraft more quickly as Boeing were having part supply issues. I’m sure that’s what he said. I like Jet2 but the announcements are still too cheesy. Too pricy on the Manchester to Alicante route though. Cheaper on Easyjet. My sister lives in Benigánim so I fly often. Still love your videos !

      Hola Señor, I wondered if you noticed that just as you flew over the threshold at MAN the 'Airport Pub" and it's lovely garden, great place for a beer, a pub lunch and some wonderful plane spotting too, it is a favourite place for many plane spotters and beer lovers alike, you must go señor whenever you can.
      Another wonderful film, I am a big fan of your content.
      Also at MAN is a Concorde museum too, have a watch of Gabriel on Flightradar 24 you tube channel recently, adios Señor.

      Creo que ademas del hecho de que los pasajeros no confian en los Max… Boeing no esta generando confianza como compañía en las Aerolineas, he escuchado y leido que tienen muchos problemas. Sobre todo para hacer entregas de aeronaves. Estan muy retrasados. Si no recuerdo mal, el CEO de Emirates ya amenazó si este año no habia luz verde al nuevo 777, resindirian el contrato. Y ahora no recuerdo que aerolínea, comunicaron que los nuevos aviones que estaban para opcion de compra, resindion el contrato. En conclusion, tienen un gran problemas de confianza.

      Jet2 has a rather annoying onboard advertising, ugh. Too much. But overall it seems to be a good airline.

      Si. Creo que Boeing se quedó atrasado al querer solo remodelar el B737 y no haber hecho un profundo cambio en el modelo. Los motivos y las consecuencias ya las sabemos. Por mi parte como pasajero pues perfecto sí Ryanair puede conseguir mejores precios y repercutirlo en el coste del billete. Me gustó ver Milton keynes lo cual me hizo recordar el tiempo en que estuve trabajando para una empresa automovilística de por allí. Saludos.

      Beautiful sunny weather.
      Yes strange that there is no middle of the market plane. Although a certain A320 variant is closer than the 737 variant, also because the MAX10 isn't certified yet..

      Yo es que soy team Airbus, entonces todo lo que sea cambiar un 737 por un 320 o 321 me parece buena idea jajaj, aun así me pone triste saber que cada vez iremos viendo menos el 757 🙁

      We flew out on her 5th July! She's that new we had two captains as well as the first officer. Everone still in the learning stage i guess, we returned on the 757 eight days later. Great flights no delays or hold ups
