Sapporo’s $47 Crabs of Hokkaido Buffet | King Crab, Hairy Crab, Snow Crab, and more! 70 minutes!

Hokkaido is known for its great seafood and while in the city of Sapporo within Hokkaido, it would be great to try the food local to the region. And what’s best in Sapporo? … I believe that would be the beer, the ramen, and of course, the crab!

As luck would have it, after visiting (and sampling at) the Sapporo beer museum, I has fortunately enough to find an all you can eat Hokkaido Seafood Buffet with HotPot or Grill… (you have be choose one). But what’s unique about this buffet is that for $47 USD, you get all you can eat crab! From the famous Hokkaido Chestnut Crab (or Hairy Crab), to snow crab, and mountains of fresh King Crab! And while the crabs are the star of the buffet, there is so much more to offer from the huge scollops, freshly made crispy tempura, to the stews and live stations.

There is one catch though… you only get 70 minutes! While it should be sufficient time for most, it was a challenge to film and dine under the clock! It was a rush, but fun and exciting!
