Namibia TRAVEL GUIDE: The SOSSUSVLEI is the SUNNIEST place on Earth!

Welcome to Namibia! This is one of the least populated countries in the world, because it mainly consists of desert landscape. We travel along the coast to visit the highlights of the country and start with the absolute number one sight: the Sossusvlei.

In the previous episode you saw us driving through the Kalahari desert in search of wild animals. From South Africa we crossed the border into Namibia. There we will travel through mountains, deserts and salt flats in the coming weeks, with stops in Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Cape Cross and Etosha National Park.

Our journey through Africa is part of a one and a half year trip around the world. We can even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year’s Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines. Zanzibar and Tanzania are already destination number 21 on the big trip. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in Tanzania, from Zanzibar to the safari parks on the mainland and then to many more beautiful destinations in Africa!
