Our Wales to Greece Budget motorhome trip has arrived in Romania, and wow were we shocked with what we’ve found!
Romania has a very dark history, however watch our video to find out what we thought of our first few days here.
Our first stop is close to the border, where we had a long wait to get our documents checked.
Please follow us on our journey to travel from Wales to Greece on a spending budget of £2500, we are doing this trip in a 3 month period.

  1. See what you meant by the bordery borders 😂 those flies I get a complex too when they fly round me 🤣 can’t get over the Gypsy palaces 😮 wow 🤩 they must all have the same architect 🤪🤣🤣🤣 xxx

  2. You look to be having a wonder time. So many beautiful places to enjoy. I am thoroughly enjoying watching your videos as you travel from New Zealand. Love seeing all the different countries. Can't drive to another country here in New Zealand 😅. Love how you are just letting life happen. Safe travels 😊

  3. Loved this video, I saw the Romania shopping prices and said to Gary that I wanted to go there and he said "at them prices we can buy our own gypsy palace" 😂…that border though😱

  4. Had to go to Romania with work 9yrs ago. The poverty and stray dogs and cats were terrible. People I worked with said too much back handers and corruption by officials with EU money. Lovely scenery and food though.

  5. That's a great new saying bordery border 😂, Wow what a contrast with the Gypsy palaces and shacks, Had to laugh at Dolly being a typical Doodle find a puddle if I fit I'm going to lay here 😂 even though ours is a Schnoodle and not a Labradoodle he's the same 😂 frustrating sometimes though 😊

  6. Umm that issue with the radio and solar seems a bit odd

They’re quite often wired to the leisure battery so they can be listened to when not driving but the solar should be able to keep up….

  7. There is a border check because Austria is vetoing Romania joining Schengen Area and removing them. It does that because it says the Schengen area is not functional because of how many imigrants are getting in so no sense in expanding it so they vetoed Romania and Bulgaria (Netherlands vetoes Bulgaria only too and voting yes for Romania) and invited Croatia in. I know :0

  8. ❤ Another great video and thank you for sharing… Them gypsy palaces are amazing, ive never seen them before. Romania looks like a beautiful country too…
Take care and have fun xx

  9. Wow both of you these videos are awesome 👌 Your journey is going great. Each time we watch we learn something else. Didn't know you needed the paperwork for Romania vinaigrette? Hope that spelt right 😅. So can't wait to be doing what you both are doing! Getting excited for you getting to Greece ❤

  11. 👋 👋 Best of luck! I recommend crossing from Timisoara to Oradea-Cluj Napoca-Sibiu-Brasov, everything is a must there, but also in the East part Bucovina monasteries near Suceava and Maramures rural area..

  12. Quoting those prices for the rovinete, I think you got the wrong one. For a 3.5t van, you pay about 70ron for a month. Your price is for a car.

  13. Those Palaces are made with the sweat and tears of all the kids whom are crippled and sent begging and all the women trafficked as sexual workers and all the heroin they sell . People should see it and never give money to beggars

  14. Hi Corrin and Paul. Just a quick question about the Romanian vignette. We are a small motor home weighing less than 3.5 ton so I assume we just buy the “car” vignette? Do you need to print the paper work off to show at border control? Thanks for that. We are in Croatia at the moment, we have to be in Romania by 5Th June as that is when my 90 days are up. Just getting prepared. Still having a fantastic time. Regards Annette and Pete

  15. How to know what eggs are which
    First number:
0 – From hens that live Eco/Bio/Organic free range
1 – From hens that live in open courtyard
2 – From hens that live in a hall
3 – From hens that live in cages
After one of these numbers you would find letters, the first 2 are for the country of origin, next 2 for the region/county and the number of identification, and down below expiry date

  16. Hitlers homeland Austria is to be blamed for this border. BTW along with Germany and Hungary they are Putins main sopporters in Europe.
