Exploring Bangkok a few days ago➡️ https://youtu.be/5NWPtykA_wk
The right side of the river in Bangkok is where all the action happens and where most tourists are going to. But how is Bangkok away from these areas? Lets find some Bangkok unseen places! Is Bangkok today quite on the outskirts or in less known Bangkok neighborhoods? We will find out today! Join me on the adventure to Bang Wa and its surroundings, a less known area in Bangkok.

I am Ken Abroad, a full-time traveler traveling southeast Asia, currently living in Thailand, making Thailand travel vlogs. It is my goal here on this channel to visit every country in southeast Asia and bring you along the journey.
You won’t see much tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the “real” sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.

You're correct Ken, it is banana . 5:45

Hi Ken, it’s beautiful by the carnal . Yes it papaya and the pomegranate
Green bananas are unripe and tart. The fruit was papaya. Then Pomegranate. Good that you go to the less touristy areas – more interesting. Pigeon droppings destroy buildings & structures. Feeding only encourages their presence Discouraging pigeons would reduce the maintenance of the statue & surrounding buildings, even the ground. In M'sia some people will feed pigeons, probably to earn merit for the next life – kindness to animals. But for a tourist or religious place, their droppings are unclean, unsightly & unhygienic . If humans take off their shoes, there shouldn't be any pigeon droppings or other filth on the ground.. The coconut is cheap compared to M'sia. Dim Sum means lightly dip (Dim) heart (heart).
KEN KEN KEN Jay is ….. GORGEOUS!
it's great to travel along with you as a local here.
Like de place is great here miss Thailand watching for de normal normal to come back
😆Ken, papaya and pomegranate!
Hey Ken, the placement of hands is for the month you were born in. Thank for showing me the statue I will be there next week after this week in Phuket.
Ken can you show us your university in bangkok
Guten abend Herr Ken,
Thank you for sharing your old stomping grounds, including the university and the old hangout at the restaurant!
I was actually born and raised on that side of the river! It used to be it's own city called Thonburi apart from Bangkok. It was incorporated into the Bangkok metropolitan in the mid 70's, and has since been part of the capital.
Have fun, safe travel, and eat more Dim Sum!
Ciao und Aufwedersehen!
Lovely video as always Ken, C Ya and your friend in the next one 🙌
When in BKK, I use to go to a far station and randomly walk around. Once, I stumbled upon a wood casket factory …
Thanks for showing us the non touristy part of Bangkok, and especially it's near your university! Amazing! (I've been busy… Need to catch up on all your videos!!)
Wow a prison term for feeding pigeons?
Hor Jia Restaurant selling Dim Sum
Looking forward to seeing more of Joseph.
Thrown into jail for 3 months because of feeding pigeons. Ken i like your humour.
The Dim Sum looked very good.
It is so honest of the motorbike man to charge you only one person and it was so kind of you to pay him the original 2 persons price. 👍👍🌸💕💫
And I love the neighborhood along the small canal. Every houses have trees and plants. So greenery. 😇
Ha ha ha..that motorcycle's capacity is as much as a truck but seriously I would not do so.
Yeah papaya, the other one is a pomegranate.
Ken those are communication lines , The power lines are the ones on the top at the highest
How we can follow Joseph on IG?
It definitely makes sense to discourage people from feeding the pigeons and sadly they seem to always congregates/ roost at temples crapping all over the place- especially at rural temples since there are no other tall buildings around. They’re nothing but rats with wings.
Ken.. You can get 7 eleven tshirt at shopee..
Bring back memories 👍👍👍👍👍
Did you go to Siam University? 🙂 I also went there on autumn 2019! Coming back for more studies in Chulalongkorn next autumn. Greetings from Finland 🙂
Very interesting city with history, enjoying the videos Ken I like the local markets with full of fresh fruits and vegetables with friendly people
