Inflation in the UK is at a record high so as in Poland. However, according to data from the world bank believe by 2030, the UK economy will be overtaken by Poland and other Eastern European countries by 2040.

The Polish economy is growing at a steady rate of 3.6% and the unemployment rate is one of the lowest in Europe. Having travelled across Poland, I can tell you it is a wonderful country to explore, and it’s very safe and progressive.

  1. Poland's only advantage is its membership in the EU. congratulations on your decision to leave. in Poland, money from the EU keeps us alive, but inflation gives everyone a hard time.

  2. You are not compering UK to Poland as a whole, but comparing London to Poland. London, same as Warsaw are hyper expensive, but when you go to other cities, it's acctually not that ecpencive, same as you go to some smaller cities in Poland. For a typical Pole, the cost of living in general is also very high, prices are high, lots of stupid taxes, it's all around the world. Besides that London is not english anymoire if we speak about multiculturalism, in Poland there is no such things, so when you ask some boys from India who came there to 'study' and then you comparing with a native Pole, it's actually not good example in my opinion. Besides that, nice video. Greetings

  3. "Progressive?" I guess progress doesn't include having women's reproductive rights or accepting LGBTQ. Or taking its EU quotas of refugees from outside Europe. Progressive is literally the very last word I would ever use to describe Poland.

  4. @officialshekumans broski, listen to me. I was once in the place you are now: new to Poland, not spent that much time there, still on your honeymoon with the country because it's new and it's not the UK (which you're bored/annoyed with). But when you've lived there – actually lived there – for a few years, trust me, those rose-tinted spectacles will shatter into a million pieces.

You'll realise that there's not much great about Poland except that housing, restaurants and booze are cheaper if you've got a Western European wage. Then you miss all the things the UK offers that Poland doesn't have, like international food, diversity, cool music scenes. Then you start to think about the very serious things Poland doesn't have, like reproductive rights for women, decent treatment of gay people, tolerance/respect for foreigners/minorities… Then you think: "do I really want to raise my kids in this place?"

I promise you, you will reach the point I'm at, and realise the only worthwhile thing Poland offers long-term is a passport to live and work in the better (and warmer) parts of Europe if you can pass the language exam and get citizenship.
