  1. I'm travelling to Saudi Arabia which is my birth country. And I'm going for 2 weeks . I plan on taking a little amout of clothe cause probably I'm gonna buy new things and this helped ao much thank you❤

  2. I’m going to Greece for two weeks… will pack unusually light compared to my past trips because it is so hot there….

  3. I wonder if these one-month-clothing-in- one-carry ons actually weigh the maximum allowed, I.e. 10 kg.
    Wouldn’t think so

  4. When I was staying in a London youth hostel, I helped an American girl get her luggage to the airport to fly home. She had two huge suitcases to check in and she couldn't even lift them on her own. Ridiculous.

  5. Chronic overpacked here!!! Your video has been sooo helpful. We are going on a cruise for 8 days and I determined to not over pack bc it’s just miserable. I intend on using this tips!!!

  6. Thanks from this brand-new subscriber! Yes to cutting back. I dropped the weight of my carry-on rolling suitcase from 30 to 25 pounds just by removing items I really didn't need to bring. I still have great outfits packed! 😊👏❤️🧳✈️

  7. Heading to my first Mediterranean Cruise soon and this video has been so helpful… I'm vacillating between carry on or check luggage? My greatest fear is to lose luggage at the beginning of my travels and no way to get it on the ship before we leave dock. What do you typically do? Also would you share your master packing list? I went onto your website but wasn't able to locate it. Thanks for all your tips!

  8. I like your video. All of these are good suggestions. But as far as toiletries, I wear contacts, so I need to take my contact solutions because sometimes it’s hard to find them overseas. Also on , shampoo and conditioner, I have very dry hair, so I have special shampoos and conditioners that I use which I pack in small 3 ounce bottles. I pack them all in one hanging bag.
I agree for today’s world we do need to pack lighter, but you have to remember that there was a time where there was a bellman to help you from the car to the check-in at the airport and then they were on the other side to receive your bags. There were people to help you and put your bags in a taxi and then go to the hotel where again you had people helping. My mother would have about 3 to 5 suitcases on a trip. We did not have to handle all these bags. But in today’s world it is more hands-on and everyone has to fend for themselves. But I remember a time when flying and traveling was a luxury and we didn’t feel like we were desperate people.

  9. As far as shampoo and conditioner, usually it’s a very harsh type of shampoo, even though it may have a nice luxury name in the hotels and Airbnb

  10. Since everyone is saying to pack lighter, here’s a situation. I am invited to a nice evening dinner on my vacation and I don’t have nice shoes to go with it. I have a nice black dress, but since everyone says take three pair of shoes,!!! I don’t have evening shoes to go with it. So now I probably will have to go buy another pair of shoes while I have many shoes at home. This thing of packing so light is for people that usually don’t go to formal events.

  11. Does packing for only half the time still apply if you’re going somewhere very hot (90 degrees)? I’m worried that I’ll sweat in my clothes

  12. Good suggestions! Re: shoes, I always bring flip flops as don’t like to walk around hotels barefoot. These work well for pool or beach too.

  13. Tip: write down what the hotel supplies for you and what you use every day. Don’t pack what you don’t use, and don’t pack what they give you
