For our second day in Hanoi, Vietnam we visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historic house. The impressive grounds featured an enormous yellow house, old cars, a lake, and a stilt house. We found the strict rules quite interesting, such as no chewing gum and only being able to walk in one direction without ever turning around and walking backward. We then stumbled upon the iconic Train Street, a neighborhood with a train track running directly through it. We stopped for lunch in what felt like someone’s home, eating Banh Mis and cream puffs in the attic. To end the night, we headed to a night market, being caught first in a torrential downpour, which eventually cleared up and led to us exploring the various stands, delicious street foods and maze of clothing!

Stay tuned for next Sunday’s video where we head to Ha Long Bay for an overnight boat trip!
