  1. They don't trust the government yet keep electing dems…lol All the former decent cities are affected by the local politicians.

  2. Saludos desde Argentina. Interesante video. Gracias por mostrar el corazon de Estados Unidos. Ver los pueblos y ciudades, muestra la historia americana.
    Bendiciones para todos.

  3. Thanks for including the road names and directions so we can follow along on Google maps and get a feel for the different neighborhoods and organization of the city. We have a disposable mentality in the US, unlike Europe, where we throw away whole cities and move to a new area as the economy changes leaving by infrastructure to be reused by someone else who can’t maintain it. Your videos chronicle this well.

  4. This is the consequence of US economic policy banking EVERYTHING on the automobile industry. Cities and neighborhoods were destroyed by tearing up street cars to put in bus routes and highways. And while doing that towns like Flint were given their inevitable death knell.

  5. Good vid! I eas born & raised in Flint, but my parents, grands, lits if relatives moved there from southern states, cities…Flint eas beautiful, thriving, busyling until GM sold out & moved out keaving Flint somewhat desolate. Neighborhoods were beautiful & very friendly then! Its sll about $ now & not the city or its people…Lots of apartments are going up, some new businesses. Hurley Medical Center is very integral & a great hospital thats staffed greatly! Around the Court street area around Mott Community College is a beautiful are of homes as is around Miller Rd…Those are where larger stately homes are too! Flint is full of rivh history & is coming back slowly…I still love my #Hometown

  6. Everywhere Democrats are in control of local, state, and federal governments, everything turns to complete SHT. Kind of weird how that happens, don't you think?

  7. I notice he didn't drive through the north part of town, the Black neighborhoods lol. Someone probably told him "dont drive north on Saginaw St 😄

  8. Most of the areas you say are dangerous look more abandoned. Dort isn't notorious. It's rough, yes. If it's soo bad, why are people always going to Flint making videos instead of helping the Flint community? Do something to help…

  9. Our “leaders” sold us out and actually gave tax breaks to craporations to move jobs to Mexico and then China. The entire midwest isn’t that far behind Flint. but that’s fine with the 1%.

  10. Love your videos. Can’t get enough of your page truly. It is unlikely I will ever get to see some of these locations for myself so I love watching your adventures especially with the knowledgeable commentary and statistics. I love demographics too and always thought I was so weird for looking up random cities and crime rates and history, but it appears I have found my people! Yay.

Side note: the audio on this vid is not great, I had to turn it up a lot and then when the ads came on my tv I almost had a heart attack lol.

Keep up the amazing content! God bless 🫶🏼

  11. Kinda stupid question for which I apologize, have never lived in a large city with massive amounts of abandoned homes etc… I would anticipate that the homeowners tried to sell their homes, no buyers so foreclosed and then just left to rot? Hard to imagine just abandoning property….

  12. Sadly, blue government has caused your problems, like New York, California, Illinois and other once prominent and productive states and cities. Blue government regulations have chased away the industries and it simply trickles down from there.

  13. That's a pretty Boss van @5:36. My crazy Uncle had a "Shaggin Wagon" in the 70s. Carpet on walls and everything. I thought it was sooo cool. I just couldn't understand why my Dad didn't make one too. Bahahahahaaa. He lived in Michigan too.

  14. I grew up in Flint in the 50s and early 60s. I went to Pierson Elementary from kindergarten thru 6th grade and then attended Bryant Jr. High in the 7th and 8th grades. We moved before my 9th grade year. I have fond memories of Flint and remember it being a nice city. I’m really sad to see the condition it is in today. 😢
