Join me for Flashback Friday. Once a week I will share a classic tour so that the community can watch together.
On this tour I will take you to a unique part of Amsterdam Noord. We take the bicycle on the ferry across the IJ river and sail to the NDSM site, a former shipyard that was once one of the largest in Europe.
The shipyard is nowadays the artistic centre of Amsterdam. We will see industrial cranes, a cafe made of sea containers, enormous sheds that have been transformed into immense creative spaces for artists and towering street art. Plus if we are lucky, maybe even a beautiful sunset…..
