I had made my way to the town of Dilijan in northern Armenia. Known as the Aremian Switzerland and surrounded by the forests of Dilijan National Park, the town is popular with hikers.
I had planned to do some hiking myself but, unfortunately, I did not have the best of starts to my time in Dilijan. I was also making my way back to Tbilisi where my planned year of travel was coming to an end.
Join me as one year of continuous travel begins to take its toll.
