      So peaceful and beautiful. Your "wild flower" arrangement nearly made me cry and I'm an old Army guy. It takes an eye to make it look like that. I have heard it said that we work so we can do the things we enjoy. It seems you have found both. As a cook I marveled at your plates. Simple, delicious and beautiful. I am joyful that the time you now spend with your parents seems to be more precious. God willing I can make it to Burgundy to enjoy your hospitality.

      It's just so lovely to escape from our busy lives and see how people follow their dreams in another Country. I love all the little things that bring you joy, hence they bring me Joy. You also inspire me to plant flowers for next summer as we are in winter just now. So too, your simple dishes inspire me to be more creative in the kitchen, so please keep doing what you are doing.

      You have developed a deep understanding of life itself, Marloes. Inspite of living in an urban area, I still can connect with the simplicity, slow peaceful way of leading one's own life. I guess, it entirely is about your own 'state of Being', rather than the surroundings one is in.

      The reason why I come here to your channel is for the simplicity,the beauty and to dream. I’ve never been to France,though I long to. Your sense of seeking simplicity is I think what many of us strive for. I love my quiet , simple life that I have always sought . A few years back at the beginning of summer I thought this year I am having a simple summer, and I never looked back. I am so happy for you and that your parents visit often.

      Lovely portrayal of 'a day in the life…' . The French countryside is mesmerizing…much like our woods and paths and lakes here in Wisconsin. The scenery is not identical but the sense of peace in nature is. Thoroughly enjoyed. Best to you and your family, the cat, the cows and farmers! 😊

      In my opinion you doing good job . Living in countryside is real life . We are living in fake place with tons of tons crime noise ambulances vehicles.
      Small farm countryside can make beautiful life ❤❤❤ much respect your decision

      My family background I Holland Dutch. I understood a few of the words you and your mother were saying. Like the word for nice, or pretty, and the word for knife. My father was actually born in Holland as were all my grandparents. Like you, I thought of spending more time in France, but family situations kept me in the USA. But loved my visits there and I collect French dishware and some Delft as a nod to my heritage which also includes French Huguenots. Love your channel.
