Armação de Pêra is located in the Western part of the Algarve after the busy resort of Albufeira. In contrast with that town, Armação de Pêra is not a place of nightclubs and noisy bars, but instead offers something of a refuge despite the initial appearance of multiple high-rise buildings as you drive into town.
The beaches in and around Armação de Pêra are truly amongst the finest in the world. Beautiful golden sand and, especially at this time of the year, wonderfully clean and quiet.
