Nice France has some of the most incredible markets. There are many different types of markets and there is always a market to be found on any given day. One of the most popular of the Nice France markets is the Vegetable and Flower Market. In today’s video we share with you the day we spent exploring this beautiful market. This is the last of our footage from our trip to Nice. Join us next Sunday when we’ll be bringing you an update on our moving plans and our upcoming trips to France.

This trip to Nice is part of our scouting trips to France to determine where we will be living full-time when we move back to France in the fall of 2024. Will it be the South of France or will it be Paris? Where do you think we’ll decide to go?

  1. Man, this video reminded me of how much I like Nice! Definitely made me want to head on over for a vacation, even for that juice alone lol.

  2. Thanks for an uplifting vid, really colourful, choice and quality of the market food is great. Agree with other sun. Aix and surrounding calanaques is breathtaking👏🏽🥰☕️

  3. I could live there! Do they allow golf carts on side roads..seriously? What a lovely marketplace with everything but meat..the strawberries with melon makes a superb smoothie. Seems a bit expensive..6lbs for a box of 🍓? How's your french language study going? Finally we're getting rain here in Wisconsin…need it.

  4. KJ and Tony! My husband and I are going, for the first time ever… To France in May 2024! We do know a couple places that we’d like to visit, but we only have two weeks and we would like to see as many different parts of France as possible… We would like to include where you are right now, as part of it… But I don’t think we want to go to the super touristy places… Do you guys ever put together loose travel, itineraries for people?❤

  5. Caveat to the tourist squad coming to France. Never buy art at a market or at Montmart because most of it is fake and made in China. This is well known. Also often these so called French artists that you see are not French at all but Eastern European who buy predawn canvases and then just paint over them. Had the experience long ago in Montmartre when an undercover police showed us by taking a semi repainted canvas from an artist who kept his mouth shut during the whole time

Production price in China 8€ – Sales price in France up to and over 100€. If you want real art go into a reputable gallery. Not these fly by night galleries in Montmartre for example.

  6. The market in Cours Saleya is fantastic and I love the way the restaurants take over the space as soon as the market finishes. It’s always worth a wander through !
