Don’t expect to see every landmark in this video, but I’ve crammed in as much as I could! It’s a huge place. For the last time folks lets go walking in Newark and Sherwood!

Really enjoyed that one, Andy, especially the Castle, River Walk, Market and St Mary Magdalene Church. Good seeing Nicky and the girls, nice that they join you occasionally, even if they do wander off to do some shopping! 😉
It has been some years since I last walked the town and watching the episode brought back so many memories of my early life. As you say, with a town of this size it is impossible to cover all landmarks but a great effort to have squeezed so much into 50 odd minutes. Thank you so much for this episode but also for all others covering the district. PS Newark Cemetery would make a fantastic Mrs TVI episode – probably as long as the parish episode!
Thank you for all of the Newark and Sherwood episodes. So much information I did not know about my local area. Looking forward to the Gedling area now where I live. Your hard work and research is very much appreciated.

Thank you so much Andy. Watching from Canada with my family and we really enjoyed watching this one. My late Mom was from Farndon/Newark and she was a fan of your channel (especially the Farndon episode) and would have loved this one. She was there in spirit with us tonight as we watched …
Thanks again Andy. It's not much but we appreciate your work.
